About Eximius Writing Services
Eximius Writing Services is a Florida litigation support firm founded by attorney Sahily Picon. We research and write appellate briefs, motions, and legal memoranda for solo and small-firm litigators across Florida, and support attorneys nationwide.
Our story
Sahily Picon founded Eximius in 2012 after practicing civil litigation in South Florida. She saw how often solo and small-firm attorneys were stretched between court dates, clients, and running a practice, with too little time left for the research and writing that wins cases.
Eximius was built to give those attorneys the research and writing depth of a large firm’s appellate department, from attorneys who treat every case as if it were their own.
The name says what we hold ourselves to: eximius is Latin for exceptional.

Founder and CEO
A Florida-licensed attorney since 2009. Sahily earned her J.D. summa cum laude from Nova Southeastern University, graduating in the top 1% of her class. Before dedicating her practice to research and writing, she practiced civil litigation in South Florida.
